Cosclay ELEMENTS: Translucent
RESTOCK 11/18 at 10AM EST
Translucent will be available at a 10% off reduced rate to the first 50 orders.
After listening to your requests and undergoing many months of testing, we are so excited to finally be able to share this new special effect clay with you. Cosclay Translucent will offer incredible new ways to use Cosclay, and we can’t wait to see what you will create!
Cosclay Translucent is clear enough for light to pass through in any thickness, but if rolled thin enough, you can also see that colors, words, and other artistic elements are visible underneath. It is also easily mixable with alcohol inks to create a range of translucent colors.
Translucent is also extremely flexible after baking and is easily workable right out of the box: not too soft, but not too firm. As with all Cosclay grades, our Cosclay has high green strength, blends with ease, and will not sag in the oven.
WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE GETTING STARTED WITH TRANSLUCENT
Cosclay Translucent is EXTRA sensitive to heat. Please do not use a toaster oven to bake your creations. The elements in these types of ovens are too close to the clay and will cause yellowing. We suggest only using the soft heat of a conventional electric or gas oven and placing your creations in the center. For additional tips please visit our FAQ
