FLEX YOUR IMAGINATION WITH COSCLAY LIQUID POLYMERS
COSCLAY FLEXFLO is an unpigmented liquid version of Cosclay that cures to a semi opaque finish with the same density as cured Cosclay Clay. Can be used by itself to create flexible ornate castings from molds. Flexflo can also be used to compliment Cosclay sculptures as a coating, detail enhancer, surface treatment, or paint medium. Flexflo can be colored before baking with alcohol inks, mica powders, glitters, pastels, and oil-based pigments for colored variations.
Available in 2oz (60ml) Bottles.
Cosclay Flexflo Liquid Polymer Clay’s Features Include:
- Flexible and durable after baking
- Can be poured into molds for highly flexible, precise replications
BAKING INSTRUCTIONS: For best clarity, bake at 250°F (121°C) for 30 minutes. Do not exceed 275°F (135°C). Tent for clarity and best results.
NOTE: Cosclay Liquid Polymers are not meant to be mixed into Cosclay Clays to modify the density. If you do mix the two materials together, you will create a hybrid paste that can be used to create trowelable effects perfect for building surfaces and creating textures.
INSIDER TIP: The best mold to use with Cosclay Liquid Polymers is one made with Cosclay Clay. To do this, coat your mold in C1 Separator, allowing time to dry between coats (two coats at a minimum.) Heat the mold via hair dryer, oven, or heat gun (do NOT place mold in the microwave!) While the mold is hot, carefully brush in your desired liquid medium making sure to get it into all the cracks and crevices. The heat will begin the reactive curing process and the Liquid Cosclay will begin to gel; this is called a detail coat. Once you are satisfied with your initial surface application, pour in the amount of Liquid Clay necessary to fill the rest of your mold. Place the filled mold back into the oven at 250°F (121°C) for 30 minutes. Easy demold by submerging in cool running water.
